“Then the Lord said, ‘I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings…’” Exodus 3:7
Our God sees, hears, and cares about our sufferings. Just as He looked upon the Israelites’ woes with compassion thousands of years ago, He takes notice of our own cares today. Nothing is hidden from Him and no difficulty is too small or too large for Him to deal with. Have you cried out to Him in the midst of your circumstances? Be patient. The Israelites were enslaved for 400 years before God delivered them, but He had not forgotten them. Be encouraged that our God hears and sees all that we are experiencing and He never leaves us alone in the midst of it.
